henna

Free Image Hosting at www.ImageShack.us

I bought henna at the Phoenix market last weekend, and did some designs on my feet. I like the right one best, I did that first...I got kind of lazy on the left. I can't wait until it's all dry and I can see how it turns out. But now I have to go to sleep with toilet paper socks!

photo journeys

Looking at the pictures of Waseda University on a Japanese student's blog. There is one picture in particular, of the mural on the Big Box Music building next to Takadanobaba station that brings back so many memories. I remember passing that building every day on my way to class, or going out with friends.

Do you ever have a recollection of a time and place that is so strong that it becomes a physical sensation, a sort of spinning vortex's pull that almost feels as if it's drawing you back to the place you once were? I feel that way sometimes.
